Description

In 1983, a gentleman from Berlin bought the 528i from BMW and took the car with him to Bavaria in 2003. The relatively elderly gentleman kept the vehicle until 2006 and then sold it to a BMW employee. This second owner never registered the vehicle and only drove the saloon very sporadically on 07 registration plates. Unfortunately, the gentleman died relatively early and so the E28 was sold back to the current owner in northern Germany by a friend in 2022. He took over the vehicle with a mileage of approx. 90,000 km and covered approx. 47,000 km in the BMW in a short time. To this day, the 528i is still in its original condition and mostly in its original paintwork. The current owner subsequently installed seat heating, which can be controlled via very discreet controls next to the front seats. We have all invoices and MOT documents for the vehicle, as well as the old vehicle registration document with both registered keepers.

Conclusion

The vehicle is in very good general condition. The current owner is very tech-savvy himself and is very familiar with this model. He moved the vehicle regularly and did not allow any maintenance backlog to develop. A great vintage cruiser that can also keep up on the motorway.
