Hardly any other model embodies the connection between racing and the road as much as the BMW E30 M3. From the first series M3 to the Evolution models and finally the Sport Evolution, every step was a refinement, an improvement – further proof of BMW's motorsport DNA. The standard M3 was already a sensation. The M3 Evolution I laid the foundation for further development, the Evo II brought more power and aerodynamics – but the highlight, the pinnacle of technology and exclusivity, came in 1990 with the M3 Sport Evolution.

Built only in that one year and limited to 600 units, the Sport Evolution represents the uncompromising pinnacle of the E30 M3 series. A vehicle that was consistently developed for motorsport while remaining street legal. With a four-cylinder engine enlarged to 2.5 liters, 238 hp, special control units, revised cooling systems, adjustable front and rear spoilers, and lightweight motorsport components, the Sport Evo became the purest and most powerful M3 of its time. Only two colors were available for the Sport Evolution: Brilliant Red and Gloss Black. This example is presented in deep Gloss Black – elegant, understated, and yet full of character.

The car was originally delivered to its first owner in Germany via a BMW dealer in Herten. In 2022, the vehicle was completely restored by the renowned company MS Fahrzeugtechnik in Castrop-Rauxel – with the highest standards of quality, originality, and attention to detail. As proven specialists in E30 models, they brought the Sport Evolution back to absolute new car condition: The engine was completely overhauled, and all the technology, electrics, chassis, and drive train were thoroughly revised and restored to new condition. The interior was refurbished true to the original – every component was checked, repaired, or replaced where necessary. The result: a vehicle that is visually and technically indistinguishable from its delivery condition.

In March 2023, immediately after restoration, a comprehensive valuation report was prepared, certifying the vehicle with a grade of 1. Since completion of the restoration, the car has only been driven 1,220 kilometers. The entire restoration process is documented in detail with numerous photographs. In addition, a data certificate from BMW attests to the authenticity of this Sport Evolution.
