At the owner's personal request, the result was not merely a conventional conversion, but a unique interpretation of the Corvette C3 featuring a striking wide-body design, a comprehensively upgraded 5,657 cc small-block V8, and an exceptionally harmonious combination of styling, engineering and driving dynamics. The objective was to create a Corvette that would deliberately stand apart from all others – a goal that has unquestionably been achieved.

Karl Geiger himself confirmed in writing that only two Corvettes of a broadly comparable specification were ever built, with no two examples being identical. As a result, this Corvette occupies a truly exceptional position among the early Geiger conversions. These include the increase in output to 338 kW (460 hp) through specially developed camshafts and cylinder heads, the distinctive Geiger wide-body conversion with its round-headlamp front fascia, integrated front spoiler and widened fenders, the registered 5-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, dual exhaust system, rare three-piece PLS alloy wheels fitted with the registered wheel and tyre combination of 255/40 R17 on 10 x 17-inch rims at the front and 335/35 R17 on 13 x 17-inch rims at the rear, as well as the removable mirrored T-Top roof panels. Complementing these documents are the original exemptions issued by the Government of Upper Bavaria. In 2011, the Corvette underwent a comprehensive restoration. As part of this work, the car received a complete repaint, the mechanical components were extensively overhauled and numerous parts were renewed. The objective was not merely to restore the vehicle, but to preserve its outstanding quality and originality for the long term. Since then, it has been meticulously maintained and cared for with the utmost attention.

More recently, considerable additional investment has been made to ensure the car remains in the best possible mechanical and cosmetic condition. Over the past months, several thousand euros have been invested in maintenance, mechanical refurbishment and numerous detail improvements. As a result, the Corvette presents today in exceptionally well-maintained condition and is ready either for the next driving season or to take its place in a discerning collection. Furthermore, the car benefits from German H-registration, confirming its official status as a historic vehicle.

Another outstanding feature of this Corvette is its exceptionally comprehensive documentation. Included with the car are all available invoices, TÜV inspection reports and historical records accumulated over decades of ownership. Also accompanying the vehicle are the valuation report prepared following the 2011 restoration, historical documentation relating to the Geiger conversion, and original photographs from the 1980s showing the Corvette shortly after its transformation. As a result, the car's history has been documented in remarkable detail for more than four decades – something rarely encountered on a vehicle of this rarity.
