This beautiful Lancia 2000 PF Coupé was ordered in October 1971 by Mrs Yolanda Perren (a hotelier in Dottikon, Switzerland) at the official Lancia branch office "GARAGE ABROSOLI & CO" in Zurich. On December 1st, 1971, the vehicle was registered and delivered to her hotel. Mrs Perren was born on the 19th of October, 1915 and was already 56 years old when she purchased this chic coupé as a diversion from the hotel business. Alas, due to the high demands of the hotel trade, she only rarely got to experience the enjoyment of driving this luxury sport coupé. Up until the vehicle's sale in 1991, she only drove about 33,000 km.

On the 19th of June, 1991, the Lancia was bought by Mrs Irene Erika Vögtli (born in April of 1953) from the lovely swiss village of Oberkulm. She registered it as "veteran vehicle" (a denotation reserved for vehicles with an "H" license plate in Switzerland) for herself. She and her husband owned the coupé until 2007 and only drove about five thousand kilometres.

On December 7th, 2007, the couple sold the car with a mileage of now 38,205 km to its third and as of now latest owner, a gentleman from northern Germany, who passed away only recently. He declared the vehicle on the same day and eventually brought it over to Lübeck, where, on January 28th, it was presented for technical inspection. The assessment of the H licence plate took place there as well. On Februrary 4th, 2008, the Lancia 2000 Coupé was registered to the gentleman in Lübeck. Since 2008, the car has only been driven in sunny weather conditions, and the noted total mileage today reads only 43,558 kilometres. The fact that the coupé accompanied all three former owners for many years respectively explains the vehicle's incredibly good condition, and we hope to find another owner who strives to keep the vehicle's current condition and properly appreciate this coupé, which after all was only built 1,399 times. The coupé's cavity has been professionally sealed and the vehicle has been verifiably maintained over the years. All main inspections performed since 2007 are also verifiable via the original documents.

Conclusion

Only 1399 exemplars of the Lancia 2000 PF Coupé were ever built, and even at the time they were all outfitted remarkably well. The travel comfort is increased due to the good seats and the perfectly harmonized chassis. Even modern cars don't take rough bumps in the road as well as this luxury specimen from the 70s. The vehicle stands in its original condition and even the interior remains unchanged. The impressive PF rooflining inspired the Lancia workers to accessorize the rear lid with a visually pleasing engine insulation, which results in less sound routed into the inside of the vehicle. The trunk contains the wheel lids, intact and not broken as is usually the case, as well as the rubber mat, fitted ex factory. All doors open and close as comfortably as the two bonnets, and there is zero sign of wear and tear. A special point of interest is the coupé's varnished outer shell, which Lancia applied only very rarely on this model. Thanks to the design studio "Pininfarina", the coupé sports a truly distinctive appearance and powerfully draws the eye from every angle. In this model's release year Lancia gave out a warranty on its engines for up to 200,000 kilometres, and our experience shows that this was no idle chatter.
